Art comes from...

In the moment I do making that reflects this, I pay attention to the flow of my thoughts

Walking through a field, climbing a mountain, or listening to the waves crashing on the ocean is liberating. I was curious about this liberating and soothing effect, so I developed a perspective that allowed me to understand how nature works. The beauty of nature shows fantastic shapes and colours, even under a microscope, down to the tiniest details that are invisible to the naked eye. I have taken this natural beauty into my mind to grow emotions and thoughts, which I reflect in my artwork, keeping in mind the peacefulness of nature as I work.

Work story

Using a variety of mediums, I created work that captured the natural shapes, textures, and colours of leaves. I achieved this with both abstract and realistic touches. Nature environment inspire me to create work that captures the beauty of their intricate details. My work also explores the science of leaf structure and its interaction. I create work that reflects scientific principles such as photosynthesis, conifers absorbing cold air, and broadleaf trees absorbing warm air. I combine the beauty of nature with scientific understanding to create mesmerizing and inspiring work. I want to create pieces that evoke pure emotion and connect the viewer to nature. I always ask myself why I am making jewelry and what my thoughts and intentions are, allowing me to evolve my creative work.
