The theme, "Leaves," focused on exploring the beauty of nature through the use of leaves. Using a variety of mediums, I created work that captured the natural shapes, textures, and colours of leaves. I achieved this with both abstract and realistic touches. Leaves inspire me to create work that captures the beauty of their intricate details. My work also explores the science of leaf structure and its interaction with the environment. I create work that reflects scientific principles such as photosynthesis, conifers absorbing cold air, and broadleaf trees absorbing warm air. I combine the beauty of nature with scientific understanding to create mesmerizing and inspiring work.
